Thomas Dickinson, 63, of Fairfield, passed away Feb. 1, 2020, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

Tom was born Aug. 15, 1956, in Fairfield, Iowa, to Florence Wittmer Dickinson and Glenn Dickinson. Tom lived in Fairfield all of his life. Tom worked at Fairfield Middle School as head custodian until his health required he retire.

Tom loved all sports, especially the Iowa Hawkeyes, the Green Bay Packers and the New York Yankees. Tom especially loved spending time with his family and really enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Tom will be missed by his siblings, Becky (Jim) Stoner of Fairfield, Bob of Colorado, Bill (Lisa) Dickinson of Ottumwa, Deb of Fairfield and Julie (Lane) Vorhies of Fairfield; sisters-in-law, Dianna of California and Mary of Packwood; and several nieces and nephews. Tom really enjoyed his great-nephew, Carter, coming to visit.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Florence Gorman and Glenn; and brothers, Douglas and Charles.

Per Tom's wishes, no funeral or visitation planned and burial will be held privately by family at Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton. Memorials may be made to Parkview Activity Fund.
