Thomas G. Woods

Thomas G. Woods, 60, of Libertyville, Ill., and formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died Monday, June 19, 2000, at his home following a lengthy illness.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 22, at the First Presbyterian Church in Libertyville. Burial will be at Memorial Park in Skokie, Ill. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home in Libertyville. Memorials may be made to either the First Presbyterian Church or Hospice of the North Shore.

Mr. Woods was born July 29, 1939 in Evanston, Ill., the son of Mary and John L. Woods. He married Lunda Riepe. A 1957 graduate of Glenbrook High School in Glenview, Ill., he also graduated from Lincoln College in Lincoln, Ill. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Libertyville, a member of the Mayflower Society, and an employee of Hewitt Associates in Lincolnshire, Ill., since 1962.

Survivors include his wife, his son Michael Woods of Kenosha, Wis.; his mother Mary Woods, a brother John Woods and sister Jean Woods, all of Lincolnshire; a sister Judy Ruff of Vernon Hills; a granddaughter and a niece. He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew.
