Thomas "Tom" L. Rusk, 78, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Faith United Methodist Church in Libertyville, IA, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a lunch served at 1 p.m.

Tom was born on August 16, 1943, to John and Leona (Baker) Rusk in Jefferson County, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Donna Hendricks on January 26, 1964. Tom worked as a cement finisher for over 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and training bird dogs.

He is survived by his children, Edward (Bea Snow) Rusk and Terri Camelin; grandchildren, Rayven (Justin Watkinson) Rusk, Darean Rusk, Justine (Cody) Woodsmall, Rachel (Aaron) Davis and Megan (Kaitlyn McAtee) Anderson; and great-grandchildren, Harley and Maddox Watkinson; Alisha, Jayden, Serenity, Skyler, and Anarra Woodsmall; Donna Davis and Nova Anderson. Also surviving are his siblings, Marian Laughlin and Charlotte (Joe) McLain.

Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Donna; parents, John and Leona Rusk; siblings, Joyce Snore, Mitchell Rusk and Christine Ogden; and his niece, Lisa McLain.
