Thomas Norman Sayre, age 53, of Axtell, Neb., passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdrege, Neb.

Celebration of life services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the Zion Chapel at Bethpage Mission (Mosaic) in Axtell, Neb. Interment will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington, Iowa. A memorial has been established for Bethpage Mission, 1044 23 Rd., Axtell, NE 68924. Tom was born November 6, 1964 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Jerry and Ruth (Byers) Sayre.

He is survived by his mother, Ruth Sayre; brothers, Daniel, Mitchell and Jerry Sayre; and sister, Heather Sayre Jordan.

He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents, Howard and Dorothy Sayre
