Tillie Slabaugh

KALONA - Tillie Slabaugh, 86, of Kalona, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona.

      Celebration of Life services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, at Fairview Mennonite Church in rural Kalona, with the Rev. John L. Hershberger and the Rev. Perry Miller officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in rural Kalona. Visitation will be today at the church from 2 to 8 p.m., with the family present from 2 to 4 this afternoon and from 6 to 8 this evening. A memorial has been established for Fairview Mennonite Church.

      Mrs. Slabaugh was born Dec. 10, 1918, to Daniel and Fannie (Schrock) Coblentz in Glendive, Mont. She married Andy Slabaugh on Feb. 20, 1944, in Kalona.
