Timothy Allen Schafer
Timothy Allen Schafer, 15, of Wayland, drowned while swimming in a farm pond between Douds and Libertyville at 7:40 p.m. on Sunday evening, July 21, 2002, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with the Rev. Gordon Oliver officiating. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today at the funeral home with family present from 7 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family in care of Marie Tedrow, P.O. Box 213, Libertyville, IA 52567.
