Timothy Fluharty Jr.

Timothy ?Timmy? Daniel Fluharty Jr., 18, of Brighton, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016, in the Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Rick Zickefoose officiating. Family visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m., Friday at the funeral home. A general memorial in the name of Timothy Fluharty Jr. has been established.

Timmy was born May 18, 1998, in Iowa City, the son of Timothy Fluharty and Ruth Ann Gomes.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are his mother, Ruth Ann Gomes and husband Billy Hyde of Brighton; his father, Timothy Fluharty and wife Andrea; four siblings, Taylor Fluharty of Keota, Danielle Fluharty of Rome, Trayton Paisley of Riverside, and Caleb McDowell of Rome; his grandparents, Daniel Gomes of Canton, Illinois, Barb Koch of Wayland, and Tom and Kathy Fluharty of Brighton; and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Koch; grandparents, Patricia and Richard Hyde; and one uncle.
