Timothy “Tim” Andrew Whitten, 38, of Burlington, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Hope Haven (Racine Site) in Burlington.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor Frosty VanVoorst officiating.

Memorials may be made to Hope Haven-Racine Site and mailed to Jack and Pat Whitten, 1708-C Linden Drive, Fairfield, IA 52556.

Tim is the son of Jack and Patricia Whitten and was born September 18, 1984, in Fairfield. Tim graduated from Fairfield High School in 2004.

He enjoyed disc golf, playing pool and long walks. One of his favorite things was kicking and throwing balls.

Tim was employed by Hope Haven Area Development Center in Burlington.

He will be missed by his parents, Jack and Pat Whitten of Fairfield; his sister, Lynn (Dan) Kane of Fairfield; nephews, Travis (Reesa) Starr of Fairfield, Taylor (Amber) Starr of North Carolina and Dalton Kane of Coralville; and great-nephews, Axl Starr, Corbin Starr, Bentley Starr and Winston Starr.

Tim was preceded in death by his sister, Laura Starr and his grandparents.
