Tobi L. Lear
Tobi Lynn Lear, 38, of Bonaparte, died Thursday, Feb. 14, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.
Her body has been cremated. A service was held Sunday, Feb. 17, at Bonaparte Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mark Caston officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Kansas.
A memorial has been established in her memory.
She was born Dec. 18, 1969, in Mt Pleasant, the daughter of Mike and Judy Derrick Lear.
She is survived by her mother, of Ottumwa; her son, Curtis "C.J." Lear; two sisters, Tina Jenkins of Ottumwa and Laura Lear of Des Moines; her brother, Michael Lear and his wife Amber of Andover, Kan.; four nieces, three nephews and one great-niece.
Her father preceded her in death.
