Toni Dee Johnson, 61, of Salem passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020, at her sister's home in Salem.

Toni was born on August 16, 1959, in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa the daughter of Robert and Marilyn (Ross) Harbin. She was united in marriage to Jimmy Johnson in 1980, following their divorce she meant Frank Peragus. She later found the love of her life Tom Botton and they was together for several years until his death on March 24, 2017.

She worked at Lady Luck Casino in Las Vegas for 25 years until moving back to Iowa in 2012. She went Indian Hills Community College to receive her degree in Massage Therapy and opened her business in Fairfield, Golden Butterfly Healing Arts. She was a lady who loved adventures, the outdoors, she was a naturalist, wanting to know how things worked. Toni loved everyone and she touched many people thru out her life. She was a Chicago Cubs Fan.

Toni is survived by her children, Candice (Andrew) Ouellette of Reno, Nevada, Joshua (Ann) Peragus of Elkton, Michigan, and Takoda Booton of Las Vegas, Nevada; 4 grandchildren; her sister, Cindy (Bill) Wixom of Salem; her brother, Joe (Kelly) Harbin of Lockridge; along with several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

According to her wishes cremation has been entrusted to the care of Murphy Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. No services are planned at this time. A memorial has been established in her memory and may be mailed Cindy Wixom.
