Tony L. Martin

Tony Lee Martin, 48, of Washington, died suddenly of an apparent heart attack Monday, Sept. 15, at the Washington County Hospital.

Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Beatty Funeral Home in Washington, with family present from 5 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at the United Methodist Church in Washington, with the Rev. Julia Poulsen officiating. Cremation will follow the service and private family burial will be at the Brighton Hillcrest Cemetery at a later date.

A memorial has been established for his children.

He was born Jan. 11, 1960, in Washington, the son of Freddie E. and Wanda Walton Martin. On Nov. 2, 1985, he married Cindy Beenblossom in Washington.
