Tony Lee Martin

Tony Lee Martin, 48, of Washington, died of an apparent heart attack Monday, Sept. 15, 2008, in the Washington County Hospital in Washington.

      Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, in the United Methodist Church in Washington with the Rev. Julia Poulsen officiating. Cremation will follow the service and a private family burial will be held in the Brighton Hillcrest Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday in the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for his children.

      Mr. Martin was born Jan. 11, 1960, in Washington, the son of Freddie E. and Wanda L. (Walton) Martin. He married Cindy Beenblossom on Nov. 2, 1985 in Washington.
