Troy Mitchell Thys, 59, of Fairfield, passed away Monday, February 27, 2023 at his residence in Fairfield, Iowa.

Troy has been cremated and there will be a celebration of life held at the Elks Lodge, 51 1/2 S Main St., Fairfield, Iowa, on Friday, March 10, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Troy was born in Fairfield on October 8, 1963, to JoAnn (Burnett) Thys and Lawrence Thys.
Troy Is survived by his daughter Tyra Thys and one grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents JoAnn and Lawrence Thys.
