Twyla Burdene Baker

Twyla Burdene Baker, 88, of Lone Tree died Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. 

    Visitation for Burdene will be held on Friday, July 2 from 11 a.m. ? 1 p.m. at the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday, July 2. Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery. Casket bearers will be John Forbes, Neil Forbes, Russ Forbes, Trey Forbes, Logan Forbes and Keith Dodson.  Following the committal services at the cemetery, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Lone Tree American Legion.     She was born August 12, 1921, in Graettinger, Iowa to Rev. John A.E. and Agnes Cunningham. On June 28,1953, she married Robert Nathan Baker.
