Twyla M. Billings

Twyla M. Billings, 67, of Donnellson, died Monday, April 7, at Lexington Square in Keokuk.

There will be no visitation. A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday April 11, at Keokuk National Cemetery in Keokuk, with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints conducting the services.

A memorial has been established. Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home and Crematory in Donnellson is assisting with arrangements.

She was born Oct. 1, 1940, in Kossuth, the daughter of Clifford and Maudie Piper Lee. On March 29, 1969, she married Gene E. Billings in Kahoka, Mo.

She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Burlington. She worked at the Burlington Medical Center, then at Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant as an admitting and insurance clerk.

She is survived by a son, Kenton Billings of Burlington; two daughters, Marla R. Neff of Donnellson and Marie Jackson of Donnellson; two brothers, Roger Lee and his wife Diane of Burlington and Lyle Lee and his wife Doris of Mystic; one sister, Marcelle Lee of Burlington; and 10 grandchildren.

Her parents, husband, one sister, three brothers and one grandson preceded her in death.
