Urban F. Metz
KALONA - Urban F. Metz, 84, of Riverside, died on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, in his home.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 1 in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside with the Rev. Rich Adam officiating. Burial will be in St. Vincent's Cemetery in Riverside. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the Peterseim Funeral Service in Kalona with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Iowa City Hospice or the American Heart Association.
Mr. Metz was born May 4, 1923, the son of Simon and Hortense Metz. He married Alma Heck on April 7, 1951, in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside.
