Velda M. Seaton
RICHLAND - Velda M. Seaton, 99, formerly of Richland, died Thursday Sept. 22, 2005, at Washington County Hospital in Washington.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, at Gould Funeral Home in Richland, with the Rev. Tim Detweiler and the Rev. Grant Nebel officiating. Burial will be in Richland Friends Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials have been established for Washington County Hospital or Hospice of Washington County.
Mrs. Seaton was born near Perlee to Floyd E. and Mabel Viola (Jones) Hixson. She married Roy S. Seaton on Dec. 27, 1926, in Ottumwa. He preceded her in death in 1991.
