Velma Esther Yeoman Cline

      Velma Esther Yeoman Cline, 83, of Washington, Iowa, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, at Washington Care Center following a lengthy illness.

      A celebration of life service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Assembly of God Church in Washington, with the Rev. Jim Cluney officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Washington, Iowa.

      Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church, where the family will be present from 5-7 p.m.

      Memorials have been established for Lending Hands or Hospice of Washington County.

      Mrs. Cline was born Nov. 2, 1924, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Marion Wilson and Flora Belle St. John Yeoman. She married Forest Cline Sept. 3, 1944, in Fairfield. He died in 1997.
