Velma F. Gingerich
KALONA-Velma F. Gingerich, 91, of Kalona, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona, following a lengthy illness.
Celebration of Life services were held this morning. Burial was in West Union Cemetery in rural Parnell. Memorials have been established for Pleasantview Home or Crooked Creek Christian Camp.
Mrs. Gingerich was born Oct. 3, 1914, to Issac and Barbara (Swartzendruber) Eash in Albany, Ore. She married Truman Walter Gingerich on March 1, 1936, in Kalona. He preceded her in death in 1992.
