Velma Fern Stout

WAPELLO ? Velma Fern Stout, 94, of Salem, Ore., died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, in the Salem Hospital in Salem, Ore.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, at the United Methodist Church in Columbus Junction with the Rev. Al Coffin officiating. Burial will follow next to her husband in the Wapello Cemetery. The family and friends will gather for a lunch and fellowship at the church following the burial. Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello, where the family will meet friends from 4 to 6 p.m. The family will also meet friends before the funeral, from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. Memorials may be directed to the Columbus Junction United Methodist Church, Louisa County Historical Society, or a charity of the donor?s choice.
