Velma Irene Byczek

Velma Irene Byczek, 88, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2006, at Park Place Long Term Care Unit.

Visitation for Mrs. Byczek will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2006, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church, 309 North Main Street, Mt. Pleasant, where the family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. that evening at the church.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, at 2 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Edward R. Peterson officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery of Mt. Pleasant.

Memorials have been established to the First United Methodist Church and the American Lung Association. The Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel of Mt. Pleasant is in charge of the arrangements.
