Velma Jeffers Auwaerter
Velma Jeffers Auwaerter, 84, of Panora, and formerly of Montrose, died April 26, in Guthrie County Hospital at Guthrie Center, due to complications from Parkinson's disease.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at the Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Donnellson with the family meeting friends from 6-8 p.m. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 30, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Montrose Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Peace Lutheran Church in Earlham, the Montrose Presbyterian Church or the Montrose Fire Department.
