Velma L. Campbell

      Velma L. Campbell, 79, of Douds, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

      A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lebanon United Methodist Church in Lebanon, with the Rev. Len Garrison officiating.

      Family visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

      In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Douds First Responders. Cards and memorials may be sent to 14722 Morrow St., Douds 52551.

      Mrs. Campbell was born Aug. 11, 1927, in Stockport, the daughter of Orla Irvin and Lena May Tompkins Watson. She married Reid Dale Campbell Feb. 19, 1945, in Iowa City.
