Velma M. (Mrs. Lyle) Yoder
KALONA-Velma M. (Mrs. Lyle) Yoder, 89, of Kalona, died Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona, following a brief illness.
Funeral services were held this morning. Burial was in East Union Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established for East Union Mennonite Church and Pleasantview Home. Yoder-Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Kalona is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Yoder was born on March 14, 1914, near Kalona, to Abner M. and Eliza (Yoder) Miller. On Feb. 14, 1937, she married Lyle E. Yoder in rural Kalona.
