Velma M. Runyon Giberson

      Velma M. Runyon Giberson, 97, formerly of Stockport, died Saturday, April 21, 2007, at Park Place Care Center in Mount Pleasant.

      A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Stockport Christian Church in Stockport, with the Rev. John Griffith officiating. Interment will be in Spencer Cemetery in Stockport.

      Visitation, with the family present, will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

      Mrs. Giberson was born Jan. 31, 1910, in Stockport, the daughter of William F. and Laura Watson Runyon. She married George H. Giberson May 28, 1928, in Fairfield. He died Sept. 11, 1980.
