Velma Mae Bender
WELLMAN - Velma Mae Bender, 85, of Wellman, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2003, at Parkview Manor in Wellman, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, at Wellman Mennonite Church in Wellman, with the Rev. Marvin Hostetler and the Rev. Herb Yoder officiating. Burial will be in Wellman Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday, at Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Wellman, with family present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for Wellman Mennonite Church and Hospice of Washington County.
