Velma Minnie Swanson
Velma Minnie Swanson, 84, of Burlington, died at 1:15 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2002 at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10 at the Lunning Chapel in Burlington, with the Rev. Gary Chapman officiating. Burial will be in the Aspen Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after noon on Wednesday, Oct. 9, with the family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established to the advancement of multiple sclerosis research.
