Velma V. Yoder
KALONA - Velma V. Yoder, 88, of Kalona, died Tuesday, April 30, 2002, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona, following a sudden illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 3, at Kalona Mennonite Church in Kalona, with the Rev. Scott Swartzendruber, the Rev. Mick Murray and the Rev. David L. Yoder officiating. Burial will be in East Union Cemetery in rural Kalona. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. Thursday at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Kalona Public Library.
