Vera Blough

Vera Blough, 91, passed away Monday, January 9, 2006, at the Round Rock Medical Center in Round Rock, Texas. Vera was born July 25, 1914 in Des Moines to Clyde and Ada Mullen.

      Vera was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. She was married to William Rice, Sr. who passed away on March 10, 1952. She later was married to Richard Blough who passed away November 10, 1980.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 13, at the First United Methodist Church of Fairfield. Burial will be at the Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to University of Iowa Dance Marathon for Pediatric Oncology or Heart Connection.
