Vera Ellen Gascho
KALONA - Vera Ellen Gascho, 91, of Kalona, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, in the Pleasantview Home in Kalona following a long illness.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, in the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona with the Rev. David L. Yoder officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Joetown. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established for the Pleasantview Home.
Mrs. Gascho was born Oct. 17, 1916, near Wellman, the daughter of Yost and Josephine (McArtor) Yoder. She married John Glen Gascho on Feb. 14, 1935, in the Methodist Parsonage in Joetown.
