Vera Gladys Green
KEOTA - Vera Gladys Green, 96, of Keota, died Friday, June 20, 2008, in the Washington County Hospital in Washington following a brief illness.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. today in the Powell Funeral Home in Keota with the Rev. Dennis Hopes officiating. Burial was in the Keota Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Keokuk County.
Mrs. Green was born Dec. 8, 1911 in Hubbard, the daughter of Fred and Elizabeth (Gildermister) Boeke. She married Louis Allen Green on July 30, 1932 in Sigourney.
