Vera Hartley
Vera Hartley, 104, of New London, formerly of Salem, died Monday, Dec. 30, 2002 at the New London Nursing and Rehab Center following declining health.
The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Harold Dorsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem South Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with family receiving friends one hour prior to the funeral service. Memorials may be designated to the New London Nursing and Rehab Center in the name of Vera Hartley.
