Vera Lucille Ruegsegger
WELLMAN-Vera Lucille Ruegsegger, 92, of Wellman, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at Parkview Manor in Wellman, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman, with the Rev. Marlene Janssen officiating. Burial will be in the Wellman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. memorials may be made for Iowa City Hospice or Wellman-Scofield Public Library.
Mrs. Ruegsegger was born in the Champion Hill community near Parnell, to Avery and Zella (McDowell) Marine. She married Gerald Ruegsegger on Jan. 17, 1933, in Rock Island, Ill. He preceded her in death.
