Vera M. Davis November 27, 1910 - March 30, 2004

Vera Marie Davis, 93, Winfield, died Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at Sunrise Terrace Care Center in Winfield.

      Funeral services will be Friday, April 2 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Winfield with the Rev. Elwin Colson officiating. Burial will be at the Cambrian Cemetery in rural Columbus Junction. Visitation will be Thursday from noon to 7 p.m. at the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield with family present from 6 to 7 p.m. A memorial has been established for the Winfield First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include one son, Ronnie Davis of Winfield; one daughter, Karen Cawiezell of Eldridge; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter; two sisters, Betty Bitting of Crawfordsville and Wanda Graber of Wayland.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Shirley Rossiter; two brothers and one sister.
