Vera Margaret Luedtke

Vera Margaret Luedtke, 96, of 2237 Highway 34 East, died Monday, June 8, 2009, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.

A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Lutheran Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Marvin Robeck officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home.

Mrs. Luedtke was born Nov. 23, 1912, in Germanville in northeast Jefferson County, the daughter of John Adam and Katie Miller Burger. She married August Martin Luedtke May 3, 1934, at the Burger family home 6 miles northeast of Fairfield. He died Jan. 12, 1986.
