NORTH ENGLISH ? Vera Virginia Greene, 90, of North English, died Saturday, July 20, 2013, in University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 23, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in North English with the Rev. Joseph Roost presiding. Burial will be at St. Mary?s Cemetery in Sigourney. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, July 22, at the Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North English, with a rosary at 7 p.m. followed by a time of sharing. A general memorial fund has been established.
