Verna Crone
Verna Crone, 90, of Washington, died Thursday, April 13, 2006, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a brief illness.
Celebration of Life services will begin at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 15, at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Darryl Carr officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation began at 1 p.m. this afternoon at Jones-Eden Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 this evening. Memorials have been established for First Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
