Verna H. Casey

Verna H. Casey of Honey Brook, Pa., formerly of Sterling and New London, died Monday, March 22, 2004, at the Tel Hay Retirement Center.

      The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3 at the New London United Methodist Church in New London. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the New London United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Lloyd R. Casey Jr. of West Chester, Pa., David F. Casey of Aztec, N.M., and Daniel M. Casey of Rock Island, Ill.; a daughter, Carolyn C. Purdy of Arnold, Mo.; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alethea Blimling of Grandby, Conn.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
