Vernon Ayers Jr.
The memorial service for Vernon Ayers Jr., 58, of New London who died on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002, at Great River Medical Center will be held on Saturday, Feb. 16, at 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant. This is a change from previously announced locations. Readers will be Morton Whitney and Richey S. Dickson. The family of Mr. Ayers wishes to thank the Iowa Wesleyan College Chaplains Office for their assistance and support. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date. A memorial has been established.
