Vernon Floyd Oetken
Vernon Floyd Oetken, 91, of New London, died Wednesday, June 28, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Friday, June 30, at Elliott Chapel in New London, with Pastor Kendall Adams of Burlington Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington. Visitation will be at the funeral home beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, with family present from 1 p.m. until time of service. A memorial has been established to the Great River Hospice.
