Victor Parcell

      Victor Parcell, 72, of Richland, died at 2:42 a.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield. He had been in failing health.

      A service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Friends Church in Richland, with the Revs. Tim Hadley, Ron Bryan and Stan Bauer officiating. Burial will be in Richland Friends Cemetery.

      Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Friday at Gould Funeral Home in Richland, with the family present from 6-8 p.m.

      A memorial has been established for the Muscular Dystrophy Association for research on Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease. Memorials may be left at the funeral home or church or may be mailed to the family at 2237 Highway 34 East, Fairfield 52556.

      Mr. Parcell was born July 10, 1935, in rural Brighton, the son of William B. and Bernice E. Dowd Parcell. He married Helen F. Hoskins Sept. 26, 1959, in Pleasant Plain Friends Church.
