Viola Jane Geyer
Viola Jane Geyer, 64, of Washington, died Friday, July 23, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following heart surgery.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with Jack Bonham officiating. Burial will be in Sixteen Cemetery in What Cheer at a later date. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home, with family present from noon to 2 p.m. A general memorial has been established.
Mrs. Geyer was born on March 24, 1940, in Joplin, Mo., to Robert Marion and Dorothy Ellen (Mitchell) Richardson. She married LaVerne Geyer on Dec. 31, 1965, in Washington.
