Viola M. Adam

      KEOTA - Viola M. Adam, 89, of Keota, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, at Maplewood Manor in Keota following a brief illness.

      Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, at Holy Trinity Parish-St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota, with the Rev. Marty Goetz officiating. Burial will be at Holy Trinity Cemeteries-St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Powell Funeral Home in Keota, where the family will greet friends from 4 until 8 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial funds have been established for St. James Catholic Church or Holy Trinity Parish-St. Mary Catholic Church.

      Miss Adam was born Sep. 11, 1917, in rural Harper, to Michael and Bertha (Peiffer) Adam.
