Viola M. Lynn March 7, 1921 - January 30, 2004

Viola Maxine Lynn, 82, of rural Brighton, died Friday evening, Jan. 30, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a brief illness.

      The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Hope Lutheran Church in Germanville with the Rev. Robert Patton officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton. Visitation will precede the service on Tuesday, from 1 to 2 p.m. Memorials have been established to the Hope Lutheran Church or the donor's choice and may be left at the church or mailed to the family at 1013 Walnut Ave., Brighton, IA 52540. Gould Funeral Home of Brighton is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Helen Lynn of Wayland.

      She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Goldie Lynn, Mildred Taglauer and Opal Loeffler; and two brothers, Donald Lynn and Harold Lynn.
