Viola 'Vi' Agnes Ryan
IOWA CITY - Viola "Vi" Agnes Ryan, 90, of Iowa City, and formerly of rural Solon, died Wednesday, March 27, 2002, at her daughter's home in Iowa City, following a brief illness.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, April 1, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Solon, with the Rev. Ed Fitzpatrick officiating. Burial will be in St. Bridget's Cemetery in Nolan Settlement. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City, where a rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. and a Parish Vigil Service will be held at 7 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Iowa City Hospice, Friends of St. Bridget's or Pathways Adult Day Health Center.
