Violena P. Myers June 5, 1926 - October 21, 2005

      Violena Pauline Myers, 79, of the Trenton community, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2005, at her home.

      The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 at the Trenton Missionary Church. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. A memorial has been established to the Trenton Missionary Church. The Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel of Mt. Pleasant, is in charge of arrangements.

      Survivors include her husband; three sons, Michael C. and his wife Dee Myers of Springfield, Ohio, Jonathan J. and his wife Julie Myers of Charlotte, N.C., and Carl H. and his wife Buffie Myers of Cedarville, Ohio; two daughters, Patricia and her husband Gary Howell of Lima, Ohio, and Sherry and her husband John Graber of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers, Roger Barns and David Barns; two sisters, Mary Thompson and Faye Barns; and 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Robert Barns; and three sisters, Jolene Barga, Jeannie Barns and Joann Barns.
