Violet May Lowe

      BRIGHTON - Violet May Lowe, 80, of Brighton, died April 3, 2005, at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.

      Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 7, 2005, at Brighton United Church, with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Burial will be in Sandy Hook Cemetery, north of Brighton. Open visitation at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton will begin at 3 p.m., Wednesday, with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established for Brighton United Church and Brighton Volunteer First Responders.

      Mrs. Lowe was born May 1, 1924, in Crawfordsville to Frank William and Jessie Luella (Mitchell) Fletcher. She married Delbert C. Lowe in Brighton on Jan. 23, 1947.
