Violet Viola Harryman

      Violet Viola Harryman, 85, of rural Douds, died at 2:20 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2007, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

      A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Oak Grove Church, east of Douds, with the Revs. Len Garrison and Harold Harryman officiating. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, east of Douds.

      Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with an Order of Eastern Star service at 7 p.m., followed by family visitation until 8:30 p.m.

      Memorials to Oak Grove Church or Zion Lutheran Cemetery may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 15034 Hawk Drive, Douds 52551.

      Mrs. Harryman was born Jan. 17, 1922, in Kingston, the daughter of John and Ruby Young Brown. She married Donald Dewey Harryman Jan. 17, 1945, in Burlington.
