Virgie M. Miller
KALONA ? Virgie M. Miller, 85, of Wayland, died Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, in the University of Iowa Health Care Center, from complications of heart surgery.
According to her wishes, the body has been cremated, and a private family burial will be held at a later date. Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona is handling the arrangements.
Mrs. Miller was born Jan. 12, 1924, in Milford, Neb., the daughter of Chris and Lucinda (Hershberger) Earnest. She married Robert Lee Miller on July 29, 1944, in Wellman.
