Virgil K. Hering
BLOOMFIELD-Virgil K. Hering, 79, of Osage Beach, Mo., formerly of Bloomfield, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006, at his home.
Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 3, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Burlington. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 2, at Henkenius-Priester Funeral Home in Bloomfield, where family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. A memorial service and Masonic rites will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday evening A general memorial has been established.
Mr. Hering was born Sept. 9, 1926, in rural Washington County to Clarence Loren and Emma Pearl (Orris) Hering. He married Mary E. Gardener in 1947. He married M. Jane Pogue Scott in 1975.
